We were pleased to receive this feedback from someone we helped recently:-
Hi Peter,
I am just writing to express my thanks for the time that you spent with me today. It was an extremely impressive piece of communicating, for which I’m very grateful. The amendments that you have suggested I make to my system, appear to have all worked superbly and not only am I getting a speedier response, but I have lost no accuracy whatsoever.
You can be sure that I will be extolling your virtues to any of my friends/contacts that are interested in the subject of speech software
Regards
Bill

We are pleased to announce the following new products added this month to the online shop:-
Dragon NaturallySpeaking Preferred V10 (no headset)
If you already have a suitable headset and want to get speech recognition software, consider purchasing this software – only version and save £40 off the usual delivered price of £139 + VAT. Alternatively, you may want to reserve your budget for a higher quality headset than the one that usually ships with Dragon NaturallySpeaking)
Dragon NaturallySpeaking Preferred V10 with superior, noise cancelling headset
Regular Dragon NaturallySpeaking Preferred ships with a “starter” microphone. Fine for getting started but you will get more accuracy and better noise cancellation with an improved microphone. Dragon This NaturallySpeaking Plus version comes with a high quality, noise cancelling microphone, the Parrott TalkPro Xpress which normally sells for £50.05 plus VAT. Get improved accuracy, eliminates background noise. Grab this package for only £10 more than the regular price of Dragon NaturallySpeaking Preferred!

New improved version of the Sennheiser VMX 100 combo

Now new and improved – now shipped with Plug & Play USB Bluetooth adapter. No longer do you have to install any Bluetooth software. The headset is charged and pre-paired by us to the Bluetooth adapter so you are ready to go! Lightweight and comfortable noise cancelling Bluetooth headset for use with Dragon NaturallySpeaking versions 9 and 10 Preferred and Professional.
New Bluetooth Wireless headsets
We have introduced the Plantronics Calisto with Plug & Play Bluetooth adapter as a standalone item. Previously, you could only order this microphone as part of the Dragon NaturallySpeaking Preferred Wireless bundle. Now you can purchase the headset and adapter on its own. Great accuracy, light and comfortable. Great for when you take your laptop with Dragon with you on your travels. Great for use with VOIP programmes like Skype also.

We have introduced a brand new headset after extensive evaluations. The Zivio Bluetooth with Bluetooth Plug & Play USB adapter.

We have been really impressed by the performance of this headset in our testing. It has excellent accuracy even with office noise in the background as the boom gets really close to your mouth and listens to your dictation rather than the background.
Suitable for Dragon NaturallySpeaking Preferred and Professional versions 9 and 10
In addition, this is the coolest – looking headset ever and it’s light enough to be worn for long periods of time.

Purchasing speech recognition software is a sound investment. However, you probably want to see what you’re getting for your investment you commit to buy. Unfortunately, there’s no digital download available from the manufacturers of Dragon NaturallySpeaking for you to try the programme out. On the other hand, as a Dragon Partner, we my be able to set up a limited duration user trial for organisations local to us in the North West if reasonable travel costs are reimbursed – contact Speech Empowered Computing to discuss.
So what other options are there to check out Dragon NaturallySpeaking before you buy?
