Spelling with the International Communications alphabet

Posted by Peter Maddern on 11th September 2006

When you spell a word or phrase in Dragon NaturallySpeaking, it’s always best to use the International Communications alphabet.  Dragon can sometimes misrecognise a letter spoken in the traditional alphabet but it rarely misrecognises a letter spoken with the International Communications alphabet.

Below is the International Communications alphabet.  It’s a good idea to keep a copy next to your computer for use with Dragon NaturallySpeaking.  It’s also useful to have next to your phone to spell out words and phrases over the phone to call centres etc.
