From Dragon’s help file………..
While you are dictating, sometimes you may misspeak or change your mind about what you want to say soon after dictating a phrase. If this happens, you can go back to a particular word and then resume dictating from that point. Read the rest of this entry »

When you first started using Dragon NaturallySpeaking, the New User Wizard takes you through General Training, a short reading session. You can perform a similar training at any time. Everyone should consider doing another session after their first few days of practicing dictation: by then, speaking into a microphone will be familiar, and acoustic training should
reflect how you actually dictate.
I suggest you perform additional training as soon as possible if your speech is unusual, due to a foreign accent for instance.
Step 1: If the Accuracy Center is not already open, say “Open Accuracy Centre”. Click or say “Perform Additional Training”
Step 2: Proceed as when you performed your initial training. When the Select Text window opens, choose a text, then click OK. The General Training window will open. Click Go to begin reading.
Important: Remember, try to speak clearly but naturally and read exactly what is on the screen. If the software needs to hear you read something again, a yellow arrow will show you where to resume reading. If necessary, click Pause, then click Go when you are ready to resume.
I ususally recommend reading a short easy reading text and later, a medium reading passage. Don’t overdo additional training though as accuracy may actually be degraded by “over training”.
